Escort United is an international advertising directory for visitors and advertisers in the countries listed on the site, excluding the United States. Advertisers may list only services that are legal where they are offered. On this page we state plainly where we stand on the United States and its laws, and in particular on FOSTA (Allow States and Victims to Fight Online Sex Trafficking Act) and SESTA (Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act).
About FOSTA and SESTA
These two U.S. laws, passed in 2018, allow American authorities to hold online platforms and the people behind them responsible for what their users publish. They concern activity that is linked to the United States.
Escort United has no link with the United States
Our service is not directed at the United States. In practice this means:
- Escort United has never been active in the United States and is not active there now.
- None of our services are offered, published or made available to the United States.
- We do not knowingly enter into any relationship with U.S. persons: not as members, advertisers, partners or suppliers.
- We do not advertise to, promote to or seek users or advertisers in the United States.
- We have no company, office, employees, servers or other operations on U.S. territory.
- We do not plan to enter the U.S. market or to work with U.S. persons in the future.
Put simply: the United States is outside the scope of Escort United. Nothing we do is aimed at it.
Zero tolerance for trafficking and exploitation
Wherever it operates, Escort United is an advertising directory for adults. We are not an escort agency and we take no part in any meeting or agreement between advertisers and clients. We do not promote or facilitate prostitution where it is illegal, and we have zero tolerance for sex trafficking, the exploitation of anyone and any involvement of minors.
- Every new profile, photo, video and review is checked by a moderator before it is published.
- Advertisers can prove that they are real with a private verification video.
- We refuse or remove advertisements that mention sexual acts for payment, show signs of coercion or trafficking, or involve anyone who may be underage.
- Reports about trafficking or minors go to the top of our moderators' queue, the profile can be suspended immediately and we cooperate with the police and the competent authorities.
- We keep the records needed to help investigations, in line with our Privacy policy.
What we expect from advertisers
- You are at least 18 years old, you work voluntarily and you control your own advertisement and income.
- You offer only services that are legal where you offer them, and you hold any licence or registration required there.
- You do not use Escort United to offer sexual acts for money where this is illegal, or to recruit other people.
- You are not a United States person and you do not offer services in the United States.
Advertisements that break these rules are removed without warning and the account is closed.
