This policy explains which personal data Escort United (escort-united.com) processes, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is Escort United. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data we process
Visitors
- Technical data: IP address, browser, device, pages visited and time of the visit, kept in server logs for security and to prevent abuse.
- Cookies: strictly necessary cookies and your preferences (age confirmation, colour theme). See our Cookies policy.
- Reports: when you report a profile we store the reason, your message, your IP address and, if you give it, your e-mail address.
Members who write reviews
- Account data (name or nickname, e-mail address, password stored as a secure hash) and the reviews you write.
Advertisers and agencies
- Account data: name, e-mail address, password (stored as a secure hash), account type and login history.
- Profile data you publish: name or alias, age, appearance, city, languages, services, rates, description, phone number and messenger links, photos and videos.
- Agency data: agency name, logo, description, contact details and, if given, a registration number.
- Verification video: a private video showing your face, a handwritten code and your full height. It is stored on a private server, is seen only by our moderators and is deleted 30 days after our decision. We keep only the result of the check.
2. Sensitive data
An advertisement on Escort United may reveal information about your sex life, which is a special category of personal data. By publishing a profile you give your explicit consent to publish this information. You can withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your profile in your account or by writing to us.
3. Why we process your data (legal basis)
- To provide the service (account, profiles, reviews, paid services): performance of a contract.
- To publish profile content: your explicit consent.
- Moderation, verification, fraud prevention and protection against exploitation and trafficking: our legitimate interest in a safe and lawful platform, and legal obligations.
- Security and server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the website safe.
- Answering requests from authorities: legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
4. Who receives your data
- Visitors of Escort United see the profile information you choose to publish. Phone numbers are shown only after a visitor clicks to reveal them.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement, such as our hosting provider, e-mail service and payment provider.
- Authorities, when we are legally required, or when we suspect a crime such as trafficking or the involvement of a minor.
If a service provider is located outside the European Economic Area, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep your data
- Profiles and photos: until you delete them or close your account. Deleted content can remain in backups for up to 30 days.
- Verification videos: 30 days after the moderator's decision.
- Accounts: until you close them. Invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
- Server logs: up to 90 days. Reports: as long as needed to handle them and to protect people at risk.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted staff access and private storage for verification material. Photos are re-encoded when uploaded, which removes hidden metadata such as the GPS location where the photo was taken.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. Most data can be changed or deleted directly in your account. For anything else, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens in the Netherlands or the authority in your own country.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We inform advertisers of important changes by e-mail or in their account.
